The Pro Yakyu Report Vol. 1.15 - Blogger Meet Up
On Saturday, April 6, 2013, the same day that Alex Ramirez became the first foreign player to reach the 2,000 hit milestone, the Tokyo area Pro Yakyu bloggers (and press) had a get together at TGI Fridays in Shibuya. We were originally expecting 8 to 10 people, but as John Gibson says, work sometimes gets in the way of life.

Pocket Calendar

April 8 - Japan Baseball Weekly Podcast featuring Alex Ramirez' 2,000 hits.

April 20 - SABR Tokyo quarterly meeting at Shiba no Tori Dai-ichi in Tokyo.

About

This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.
