This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

August 12, 2013 will see the release of this week's Japan Baseball Weekly Podcast. John talks with Randy Williams about the Lions' bullpen, Ma-kun continues his winning streak, and Jim and John plan on discussing MVP candidates as the year starts winding down.
Koshien, the 95th annual high school baseball national championships, began last Thursday, August 8, and will carry on through August 22nd (extending for bad weather). The shows with Edwin Dizon have been quite popular, so, yes, I do plan on having him on again at the conclusion of the tournament.
