The Pro Yakyu Report 1.36 - Starters vs. Relievers III

Discussion in the Bayside West: Yokohama forum
The Pro Yakyu Report 1.36 - Starters vs. Relievers III
Back in May, I took a look at how Yokohama's starters and relievers did relative to each other (Vol. 1.22), that was followed up in June looking at how sluggers fared against starters as opposed to relievers (Vol 1.25).

With the season now about 80% complete, I revisit the topic of how starters compare to relievers, but with the league as a whole.

M.W.:

Not to be a party pooper, but you kind of made it sound like I discussed that topic on JBW, which was not the case. That was a discussion we had on a chat....

Also, I didn't argue starters vs. relievers, I just suggested that if by chance the BayStars lost some games late because they couldn't keep the opposition down before the ninth inning, it didn't make much sense to demote Yamaguchi, whom you called Yamamoto on your latest show.

So with that, I would like to ask which teams have allowed the most runs over the final three innings of games -- or later when extra innings are involved?

Thanks!!
