Who will Reach 2,000 Hits in 2005?
I surfed on the net and found out that the following players have a chance to reach their 2,0000th career hit in the upcoming season:

- Furuta (Swallows): 1984 career hits
- Nomura (Carp): 1945 career hits
- Tanaka Yukio (Fighters): 1921 career hits

I hope that Tanaka will have enough playing time to reach this fest. Ishii (BayStars) is at 1,805 hits, but I think he will have to wait one more season.

I think you added one to many zero's there, 2,000, not 2,0000.

Furuta and Nomura will no doubt reach the mark this year, barring major injuries, but Furuta is struggling bad right now as he's still without a hit through the first five games.
