Oh, the memories: Higashio reflects
Before Barry, there was Sadaharu.
On Sept. 3, 1977, Japanese slugger Sadaharu Oh became the first professional baseball player to surpass Hank Aaron’s career total of 755 home runs. With his homer yesterday, Barry Bonds is just eight away from joining Oh in the exclusive club.
