This is a site about Pro Yakyu (Japanese Baseball), not about who the next player to go over to MLB is. It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.
It is my sincere hope that once you learn a bit about what we're about here that you will join the community of contributors.

There are three ways you will approach that 90 feet from home to first base. (We will deal with 90-foot bases during our clinic. Of course there are shorter bases, and the proper adjustments have to be made when dealing with shorter bases in softball or in little league.) The first way is on a ball hit to an infielder on the ground. The second will demonstrate the proper turn you will make when the ball goes through or by an infielder. The third approach will be on a ball that is a sure hit to the outfield.
