Marines' Fukuura opts to re-sign
Chiba Lotte Marines infielder Kazuya Fukuura has decided not to exercise his right to free agency and will re-sign with the Pacific League club, baseball sources said Saturday. The 31-year-old Fukuura will make ¥30 million less than this year on a one-year deal worth an estimated ¥150 million plus performance-related incentives.
