Fukudome, Giants meet as 'market' opens
The Yomiuri Giants wasted little time getting into the action on the first day of the free agency market.

The Giants called Chunichi Dragons outfielder Kosuke Fukudome early Wednesday morning in Nagoya, then met with the slugger later in the day in Tokyo.
