NPB sets interleague schedule
A total of 144 interleague games are scheduled for May 20 through June 22 next season, with each team playing the same opponent four times, twice at home and twice on the road. According to the 2008 interleague schedule released Monday by the Central and Pacific leagues, the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles will host a two-game series against the Japan Series champion Chunichi Dragons at Miyagi Stadium in one of the six matchups at the start of interleague play.
