Cardinals Decline Taguchi's Option
The St. Louis Cardinals declined the 2008 option for outfielder So Taguchi [Baseball-Reference].

However this doesn't spell the end of Taguchi's time with the Cardinals. The Cardinals still can trade the outfielder or can renew his contract before the filing date for arbitration in December.

Taguchi batted .290/.350/.368 with 3 HRs and 30 RBI in 130 games and 307 ABs.
