Nichi-Bei Series: Game 3
MLB won the third game 7-3. Kazuhisa Ishii pitched 5 innings and gave up only one run. Jason Marquis gave up 2 runs to allow the game to become tied at 3. Cardinals' pitcher Ray King got the win.

Vernon Wells and Moises Alou hit back to back home runs in the 4th inning. Johnny Estrada and Brad Wilkerson also led the 9th inning off with back to back homers. Wells also had a 2 run double in the 8th inning.

Kazuhiro Wada scored the only run off Ishii with a 5th inning RBI single.
