Hideki Matsui Should Retire?

Discussion in the Nichi-Bei forum
Hideki Matsui Should Retire?
Do you guys think Hideki Matsui should retire, give it up? I think he should. He's been nothing but injury prone and his bat isn't what used to be. I think it's time.

I would like to know everyone else's opinion.

He's making a reported $13 million for this season, so he most certainly wouldn't call it quits yet.

His knee is a huge problem, and he will be 35 in June, but I see him staying in the U.S. in the American League to take advantage of the DH for at least another year or two.

I think he's been happy the last several years in the U.S. I can't see him returning to Japan to play for anyone, including the Giants.
