I have had no problems playing PYS4 on the American PS3. Just stick the disk in and it loads right up. I live in Washington DC and play online with no problems. Sometimes games have some lag but I think it comes from how well both players internet connection is. It is not hard to set up if you follow BigManZan's steps found on this forum. You will have to find the topic. As far as playing a Japanese baseball game, if you have played your fair share of American Baseball Games you should be able to get into a game in 5 minutes give or take the long load times.

It's a community of Pro Yakyu fans who have come together to share their knowledge and opinions with the world. It's a place to follow teams and individuals playing baseball in Japan (and Asia), and to learn about Japanese (and Asian) culture through baseball.

i hope to purchase Pro Yakyuu Spirits 4 (ps3 version) soon. has anyone had any problems playing the Japenese version on an American PS3. Also can you play online on an American PS3.
Does anyone have problems playing because the game is not in english?
